Coyote Logistics, a UPS Company, to Expand Atlanta Presence and Create 325 Jobs

Chicago/Atlanta – July 20, 2017— Coyote Logistics, a business unit of Atlanta-based UPS, will create 325 new professional positions in a new 48,000 square foot office facility at 255 Ottley Drive in Northeast Atlanta. Georgia Governor Nathan Deal announced the $6 million Atlanta investment today and applauded collaboration between the Georgia Department of Economic Development and Invest Atlanta.

“Just last year, UPS committed to a major regional package operations expansion in Atlanta. Georgia’s programs to provide tax credits for new jobs, and our Quick Start training program helps the brightest in our area prepare for new well-paying career opportunities, like those to be offered by Coyote,” Governor Deal added.

Headquartered in Chicago, through proprietary technology and a strong, high-performing workforce, Coyote facilitates the movement of goods between shipping companies and carriers across a range of modes and industries across the globe.

“The Atlanta office will provide new space for our growing customer, carrier, operations and 24.7 customer service teams,” said Jonathan Sisler, Coyote president. “We’ve already built relationships with area colleges and universities and will continue to draw upon top local talent for sales and customer service positions.”

Coyote currently employs about 450 people in its Alpharetta office. Recruiting for new positions at the N.E. Atlanta office will begin in the autumn.

Coyote worked with the Georgia Department of Economic Development and Invest Atlanta to secure available support for new job creation. The company expects to work with the state’s Quick Start job training program and the City’s infrastructure development staff to expand bus routes that conveniently connect to the MARTA Lindbergh station.
