Coyote Named a Top Workplace by the Chicago Tribune

Chicago, IL—November 14, 2016—Coyote has been recognized by the Chicago Tribune as one of 2016’s Top Workplaces for the seventh consecutive year. Coyote has been on the list for as long as it has been awarded. This year, Coyote holds the #19 spot in the large employer category.

“It’s a true testament to our employees to be honored as a Top Workplace for the seventh year in a row,” says Marianne Silver, cofounder and chief people officer at Coyote. “We’ve said since day one that we have the best people—this award is a true reflection of that statement.”

The Top Workplaces are determined solely on employee feedback. Companies were selected by employee surveys conducted by WorkplaceDynamics that measured everything from company leadership to managerial skills, communication, benefits, pay, career opportunities, and working environment.

In past years, Coyote ranked #2 in the small employer category in 2010, #1 in the midsize category in 2011 and 2012, #7 in the midsize category in 2013, #4 in the large category in 2014 and the #3 in large category in 2015.

Coyote’s Chicago headquarters in Logan Square’s Green Exchange houses more than 1,000 people, with another 1,300 working out of 15 additional offices nationwide. One of the most innovative, fast-growing third-party logistics (3PL) providers in North America, Coyote is successful because of employees’ unrivaled commitment to service and passion for what they do. We’re always on the prowl for smart, entrepreneurial, driven talent that will uphold that “No Excuses” commitment and dedication to shippers and carriers every day. Coyote is a proud subsidiary of UPS.
