Jeff Silver Named 2016 ITA CityLIGHTS CEO of the Year

Chicago, IL—September 15, 2016— The Illinois Technology Association has named Jeff Silver its ITA CityLIGHTS CEO of the Year. This award is presented to a CEO whose leadership, strategy, and ability to attract and retain talent has resulted in company growth and visibility.

“I am honored that the ITA has named me their CEO of the Year,” says Silver. “I share this honor with every single Coyote. It is their hard work and dedication to our mission that has allowed me to do what I do every day.”

It has been a notable year for Coyote under Silver’s leadership. April marked 10 years of Coyote leading the pack. August was the first anniversary of Coyote joining the UPS family. And Coyote went international—in August, Coyote opened its first office outside of the United States in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Coyote was founded in 2006 by Jeff and Marianne Silver. Headquartered in Chicago, Coyote, a UPS company, is a leading third-party logistics provider. To execute on its “No Excuses” commitment to service, technology, and solutions for shippers and carriers, Coyote invests in its workforce through training programs, accessible leadership, and talent development.

The winners of ITA CityLIGHTS awards are determined based on nominations from the community, a selection of finalists by a judging committee, and voting by the public.
