Coyote Named 2018 Best in Cargo Security Winner by CargoNet

May 15, 2019

Coyote is proud to announce that CargoNet, the cargo theft prevention and recovery network, has named Coyote a 2018 Best in Cargo Security Winner in the large broker category.

This award recognizes CargoNet members that have demonstrated best practices in cargo security through the use of the CargoNet program, in addition to current security protocols. As a four-time winner, Coyote was specifically recognized this year for our High Value High Risk (HVHR) program and our High Risk weekend and holiday report focused on at-risk shipments and cargo theft promotion.

Coyote is the only CargoNet member to win our Best in Cargo Security award four times and that recognition speaks volumes. It is always encouraging to see organizations apply strict prevention protocols and resources towards cargo security. Coyote truly understands the impact cargo theft has on the supply chain and they are not afraid to invest in risk mitigation programs or more importantly, use them as designed. - Ryan Shepard, CargoNet General Manager

Protecting the supply chain and helping to keep our customers’ freight safe is of the utmost importance. As a proud CargoNet member for the past eight years, Coyote has been focused on cargo security, theft and fraud reporting and recovery for the 10,000 loads we arrange across North America every day.

We utilize CargoNet internally alongside our standard security and operating procedures to disseminate any relevant fraud alerts. CargoNet is a wonderful company to work with and it is an honor to receive this recognition as we continue to strive for best-in-class cargo security protocol. - Jerry Jacobs, Coyote Manager of Cargo Security

We’d like to thank CargoNet for the recognition, and we’d also like to congratulate our fellow Best in Cargo Security winners.
