Gonterman to lead and advance Coyote’s technology strategy to support global growth
Chicago (Sept. 28 2020) – Today, Coyote Logistics announced the appointment of industry veteran Matt Gonterman to the role of Chief Technology Officer. Gonterman joins the Coyote leadership team with a shared dedication to delivering innovative solutions that drive shippers’ and carriers’ businesses forward.
“I’m proud to join the Coyote team and look forward to expanding our technology capabilities for shippers and carriers on a global scale," said Gonterman. "Coyote shares my commitment to thinking outside of the box to create solutions that solve for emerging challenges and serve the evolving needs of the customer. I look forward to working with Coyote’s talented leadership team to drive global growth through the creation of new solutions that advance the entire industry.”
Gonterman joins Coyote from Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), where he served as Chief Information Officer of the Americas. He brings vast industry knowledge and expertise to his new role from his more than 20 years of experience using technology as a lever for business growth.
Jonathan Sisler, CEO at Coyote, had the following to say about Gonterman’s appointment:
“I’m thrilled to welcome Matt to the Coyote team to lead and execute our global technology strategy. Innovative new solutions that offer scalability and leverage emerging technologies are critical for navigating today’s complex supply chain, which relies heavily on visibility and connectivity. We’re confident in Matt’s vision for the future of Coyote’s digital freight capabilities, which will enhance our solutions portfolio and allow us to continue to deliver on the evolving needs of our network.”
Coyote believes that true industry advancement comes from a combination of skilled experts and innovative technology — not one or the other. This balanced approach is what sets the company apart and affirms their commitment to delivering smarter supply chain solutions and strategic insights that empower the success of both shippers and carriers. Gonterman will play a critical role in supporting this approach through the creation of new, cutting-edge technology.
