New office will serve as Coyote’s tech and customer service hub for Michigan operations
Coyote Logistics is excited to announce that the doors to its new Detroit office are now open. Located in Motor City’s bustling Corktown neighborhood, Coyote’s new space is 58,000 square feet, which makes the company among the largest tenants of The Assembly building. Owned and operated by Bedrock Detroit, Coyote now occupies the multi-use development’s second and third floors. Its location in the up-and-coming Corktown neighborhood perfectly suits Coyote’s growing team, while supporting local economies.
Coyote’s new office signifies an expansion of the Michigan-based team and the creation of many new jobs, with growth projections from 200 employees to over 500 within the next three years. Coyote plans to add over 100 employees to the new location in 2020 alone, with roles primarily focused on customer service, sales and business development. The former hub, located in Ann Arbor, will be closing its doors this fall.
“Coyote understands that it’s our culture and the quality of our people that differentiate us in the marketplace. As we continue to grow through the expansion of our tech solutions and service for our customers and carriers, continuing to attract and retain the talent capable of delivering both is more critical than ever,” said Jorge Diaz, Chief People Officer, Coyote Logistics. “With its growing reputation as a hub for innovation and technology, Detroit offers the perfect blend of local talent and skillsets necessary to deliver the experience our customers need and expect from Coyote. We’re excited for our employees, current and future, to experience the new state-of-the-art office space, which has the capacity to grow with both the neighborhood and our company.”
Coyote’s expansion in Detroit not only aligns with its overall global growth strategy but also allows the company to support the local economy through significant new job creation. Coyote’s mission has always been to create a better experience for shippers and carriers through a seamless blend of technology and customer service, and the new Detroit office further enables the company to do so.
